The Dental Law and Ethics Forum (DLEF) was established in 1999 and our first open meeting was held on 8th December that year.
Our objective is to promote education in the field of dental law and ethics in the UK by discussion amongst dentists, lawyers, dento-legal professionals and any other interested parties.
The AGM will be held on Wednesday 30th November 2011; 6.30pm sharp.

At 7.00pm the Committee is pleased to introduce Mike “Stan” Stanford. Stan is a full time Claims Consultant for the Veterinary Defence Society and a hugely entertaining and interesting speaker. We understand there are many parallels between the Veterinary Defence Society and the medical defence organisations. The VDS pre-dates the medical defence societies having been formed in in 1865. The society is a mutual and insures 97% of the veterinary profession for civil claims and regulatory matters. Their disciplinary side is exploding and he foresees more and more involvement with our legal colleagues.
